Dear Panhandle Community,
We are excited to announce that our organizations, National Alliance on Mental Illness-Texas Panhandle and Amarillo Area Mental Health Consumers/Agape Center,
are hosting the 12th Annual Walk for Mental Health 5K. The walk will be Saturday, October 12th, 2024 at Memorial Park (S. Washington & SW 26th St.) from 3 pm to 5 pm.
We are encouraging our community leaders, consumers, family, friends, and health providers to join us on this awareness walk. We truly believe that there can be no health
without mental health. All funds will be evenly divided between NAMI Texas Panhandle and AAMHC-Agape Center, both 501(c)3s (see organization websites below). Funds will support their FREE, vital,
unduplicated mental health services to hundreds of people in the Texas Panhandle.
Registration for the 12th Annual Walk for Mental Health is officially closed. You can still register at the Walk on Saturday, October 12th, 2024 at 3:00 pm, but there is no guarantee that you will receive a t-shirt. One can also still donate to the cause using the button on top.
